Day retreats include conference sessions, Mass, and Confession.
Retreats are silent as to foster your recollection and prayer.
The abbey does not provide meals as part of the retreat.
Over-night accommodations are not provided.
You are welcome to come earlier or stay later than the scheduled retreat events.
Regularly scheduled prayers take place with the abbey community in the abbey church. That schedule can be found here.
During some retreats there may be photography, filming, audio recording or other means of capturing your image or voice for media or other printed materials (including social media and websites). Please contact us if you have any concerns.
Retreats are limited to 100 people.
Reservations are required and must be made online only.

Prepare for Advent with Fr John Henry Hanson as he leads us through reflections from his forthcoming book, Scatter My Darkness: Turning Night to Day with the Gospel. Topics will include: Emerging from Personal Shadows, Why God Allows Darkness, and the Light Christ Brings to Us.

7:00 a.m. : Mass in abbey church
8:30 a.m. : Check-in (abbey courtyard)
9:15 a.m. : Conference #1 in conference center rooms
10:00 a.m. : Quiet time for prayer and reflection
11:00 a.m. : Conference #2 in conference center rooms
12:00 p.m. : Sext (Midday Prayer) in the abbey church
Break / Lunch (not provided; seating available in conference center rooms)
1:00 – 3:00 p.m. : Sacrament of Confession available
1:45 p.m. : Conference #3 in conference center rooms
2:30 p.m. : Confessions and silent time for personal prayer
3:30 p.m. : Conference #4 with Q&A in conference center rooms
4:30 p.m. : Retreat ends
You are welcome to stay for Rosary at 4:30 p.m. and Vespers at 5:00 p.m. in the abbey church.
