The Future of Your Church:
Informing the Plans for Phase II
A new chapter in the history of St. Michael’s Abbey will begin soon, and key to Phase II is a well-informed plan based on data from an array of stakeholders. Designed as the public continuation of the Campaign for St. Michael’s Abbey, this planning study will help the abbey understand better what benefactors and supporters see as priorities.
We must discern how we can best serve today’s seminarians as they become tomorrow’s priests through prioritizing critical initiatives, including:
- MINISTRIES: Provide and strengthen the fathers with necessary resources to maximize the impact of the life-changing work they offer to individuals, families, and communities.
- EVANGELIZATION IN THE 21ST CENTURY: Enable confreres to nourish souls worldwide with the truths of the faith by leveraging modern media.
- SACRED ART AND COMMUNITY FURNISHINGS: Provide an environment for the Norbertines that lifts minds and hearts to God to worship more devoutly and focus on Christ exclusively.
- ABBEY FACILITIES: Construction of sisters’ convent, maintenance wing, and other physical plant structures.
Critical to St. Michael’s efforts are to establish, evaluate, and modify a specific roadmap for action while remaining steadfast in its vision.
